DRAGONFLY POND COUNSELLING

Life brings challenges, many unexpected. This is a place where you can land, reflect, and rise.Inspired by the dragonfly's journey from water to air - graceful, resilient, and freeing - this practice offers a calm, boundaried space where emotional depth meets gentle transformation. Whether you're navigating relationship struggles, feeling stuck, or seeking clarity in your life, you'll be met with empathy, insight, and practical support. You can book a free initial assessment - a chance to see if this feels like the right space for you.

The Dragonfly Pond is rooted in the belief that healing is both a journey and a return - to self, to safety, to clarity.Just as the dragonfly begins life underwater and later emerges into flight, you too can emerge from emotional depths into clarity and strength. This transformation symbolises personal evolution and the courage to embrace change.Drawing from integrative approaches including Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, CBT, Solution-Focused and Inner Child work, I offer a space where your story is honoured, your healing is supported, and your growth is gently guided.I am a registered member of the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS), hold enhanced DBS clearance, and am registered with the ICO, which means my practice meets recognised professional and ethical standards. This provides you with the assurance that your care is held to the highest levels of confidentiality, integrity, and professional responsibility.

Whether you're navigating relational patterns, emotional triggers, anxiety, low mood, or questioning your path, you'll find a safe, listening space to explore what's weighing on you. Together we'll work to understand your thoughts, emotions, and patterns, helping you build clarity, resilience, and hope.

Young people often face pressures and internal struggles that may be hard to talk about. Whether it's school stress, identity confusion, family change, or difficult emotions, I offer counselling tailored to help them feel heard, understood, and better equipped to express themselves.

Wellbeing is foundational to any healthy workplace or study environment. Through counselling services, I support staff, teams, or students in managing stress, building emotional resilience, and improving mental health, so organisations can thrive from within.

Every stage of life brings change - from childhood through adulthood and into later years. Along the way we all face challenges: relationships, family dynamics, career shifts, health issues, loss, or simply questions about identity and purpose. With many years of life and professional experience, I bring empathy and understanding to these transitions. My background allows me to connect with people of different ages and circumstances, offering both insight and practical tools.Whatever your stage of life, counselling can provide a safe, calm space to pause, reflect and find a way forward.
Moving forward isn’t always easy, but reaching out is a strong place to start.Your first session is free, so you can ask questions and decide if this is the right fit.
